The TITAN system provides a stable, bone conserving option for humeral head arthroplasty. The TITAN’s unique four-fin stem design offers increased stability and excellent initial fixation through a press-fit. This eliminates the need for cement, minimizes toggle and provides rotational and axial stability. The TITAN is made of cobalt chromium with a highly polished articulating surface and a grit blasted stem. The under-surface of the dome is coated with titanium plasma spray to enhance secondary fixation and provide an optimal environment for osseo-integration.

Scientific studies were analyzed to determine the most anatomic design possible.1,2,3,4 The anatomic sizes of the TITAN mimic the natural anatomy of the humeral head to provide the best fit intra-operatively and restore the native joint biomechanics.

Minimal Bone Resection Resurfacing allows for minimal bone removal and provides an open revision path. The TITAN system minimizes resection by removing only the articulating surface of the humeral head.

Improper selection, placement, positioning, alignment and fixation of the implant may result in unusual stress conditions which may lead to subsequent reduction in the service life of the device. See package insert for full prescribing information.
