TODDLERS:

TODDLERS: WHO IS WATCHING MY CHILD? Loving, caring volunteers with an approved background check who enjoy serving with our toddlers. WHICH ROOM WILL MY CHILD ATTEND? There are four Toddler Rooms: BUTTERFLIES, BIRDS, ELEPHANTS, & KANGAROOS. Toddler Room assignments are made by birth date at check-in. Promotion between classes happens each year in August...we follow the Bossier parish school systems’ birthdates for promotion. We DO NOT promote mid-year. (*Exception: babies will be promoted to Butterfly room once they begin walking steadily.) WHERE DO TODDLERS MEET? We use the meeting rooms on the top level of the Convention Center. All of our rooms are cleaned and toys are sanitized before kids arrive. Safety is our number one priority. We use play panels to provide an enclosed, safe environment for our toddlers. WHAT HAPPENS IN THE TODDLER ROOMS? Our volunteers care for the toddlers and engage with them in ageappropriate activities (reading books, playing with toys, having snack, etc.) WHEN? Rooms are open for drop-off 15 minutes prior to the start of each service. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? Bag with extra diapers/pull-ups and change of clothes and any security item needed to soothe child. Please label your bag, cup, and other items you bring to the room (you can print out an item tag for your child’s belongings at check-in).
