Sunday School Promotion Sunday—Today all children will move up according to their grade level for Sunday school class. Fall Small Group Kickoff—We are kicking off our fall small group ministry. In the coming weeks, you will have the opportunity to get involved in one of our new groups or to join one of our established groups with openings for more group members. Anne Vocature will lead us in a Melissa Spoelstra study, Joseph—The Journey to Forgiveness. The fall kick-off brunch begins this Tuesday, September 6, at 9:30 a.m. in the auditorium. Financial Peace University—Have you ever wondered what the Bible has to say about debt and saving for the future? FBC will be hosting a 9-week course which teaches finance from a fun, understandable, and Biblical perspective. FPU starts Monday, September 19, 6:30 p.m. on Modular D-1. This class is open to singles, couples, and families, with a cost of $100 per household. Sign up in the foyer annex. Questions? Contact Kevin Tucker at 571-233-8634. Anniversary Weekend—We will be celebrating 25 years of God’s faithfulness to us on Saturday and Sunday, October 1-2. Please save these dates. Also, we would like to have a memorial record of all who have gone to be with the Lord from FBC through the years. If you have a loved one from FBC who has passed away, please write their name and the word “memorial” on a yellow chair card and place in the offering basket. Please submit a JPEG formatted picture of your loved one to [email protected] by Sunday, September 11. FBC Piecemaker Quilters - is open to ladies 18 and over with all levels of quilting skills. It provides an opportunity to start from an introductory level of learning to quilt and/or continue to develop your quilting skills with an instructor. Enjoy the rebirth of quilting as well as make quilts to donate for ministries. Classes are held every other Thursday in the foyer of FBC from 6:30-8:30 pm.
