Race groups: Men: Cat 1/2; Cat 3; Cat 4; Cat 5; Masters 45+ (Categories 2-4) Women: Cat 1/2/3; Cat 4/5 Jr’s: Boy and Girls 16 and under. Regardless of the category you are racing in, as a Jr you will need to submit to Junior roll-out before and/or after each individual race, at the CR's or CJ's discretion Just added a Men and Women Recumbent Category ** (Categories may be combined based Chief Referee and Promoter consultation) **

Course Descriptions: Saturday May 20th – Time Trial: The course for all competitors is at McKelligan Canyon. Course is a 2.49 mile route consisting of mostly rollers and 602 feet of climbing. Approximate start times are listed below. Saturday May 20th – CRIT: The course for all racers is a 1.5 mile CRIT – U shape loop. Located on George Perry and Walter Jones off Global Reach. Sunday May 21st – Road Race: (see maps below) Men & Women CAT 1/2/3, Masters 45+ / Men CAT 4 - 72 miles The 72 mile course starts at San Felipe road just north of Cattlemen’s Steakhouse at Indian Cliff Ranch take you south to the town of Fabens then east on road 20 all the way pass Fort Hancock turn back at mile 36. Men CAT 5 – 60 miles / Women CAT 4- 50 miles / Juniors 35 miles The 60, 50 , 35 mile route for M5 , W4 and Juniors starts at San Felipe road just north of Cattlemen’s Steakhouse at Indian Cliff Ranch take you south to the town of Fabens then east on road 20 to Fort Hancock. Returning the same way. M5 will turn around at the 30 mile marker, W4 will turn around at the 25 mile marker and juniors will turn around at the 17.5 miler marker.

OMNIUM POINTS

********The Time Trail start times will be sent out on Friday May 19th by 8 pm MST ******* [Omnium ranking follows points by placing in events; highest points win – max 100 pts.! A tie is determined by the best place in the Road Race – (MUST compete in all three events to win OMNIUM) Omnium points are given from 25 points for first and then down, 24, 23, 22, etc with the RR counting double. Non-Omnium racers will not be given omnium points. In other words, third place in the crit is taken by a non-omnium racer; the fourth-placed racer who is registered

for the omnium will receive 23 points, not 22. Only the TOP 25 racers will be scored. Everyone else will be given a DNP (Did Not Place) score and one point. Directions: Saturday May 20th Time Trail at McKelligon Canyon. Parking will be along the adjacent side streets of the entrance of the canyon. CRIT off Global Reach & George Perry. Parking will be on Walter Jones next to the start / finish line. Sunday May 21st – Right pass Cattlemen’s Steakhouse exit Fabens precede north 8 miles. **NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION FOR THE OMNIUM (no exceptions). You may register for individual events 30 minutes prior to start of the event and will not receive any Omnium points. NO REFUNDS** Registration: Time Trial event $25; Criterium event $30; Road Race event $45 (OMNIUM $70.00). One-day license $10/day. Juniors under 16yrs. (TT $15 / CRIT $15 / RR $20 – Omnium $35). One-day Beginner Licenses are for beginners and riders that have never held a USAC annual license with a category higher than category 5 men road, track or cyclo-cross or category 4 women road, track or cyclo-cross. Pros are not eligible for NMRS points or prize money. Registration Deadlines: Last day to register online is Thursday, May 18th at 12:00 pm LATE FEE ($10) after Sunday, May 14th at 11:59 am ONLINE: www.epcyclists.com or www.usacycling.com Package pick up / license check will be Podium Finish 1027 E. Missouri Ave, El Paso, Texas 79902 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm or 30 minutes prior to your race. Protests will be accepted 30 minutes after the race finishes. For the TT on Sunday morning until 30 minutes before the first race start. Wheels CRIT- wheels in/wheels out only TT - no wheel support RR - neutral wheels if at least 30% of the field deposits wheels, otherwise wheels in/wheels out. No team wheels--wheels in/wheels out only. Results will be posted on our website www.epcyclists.com and at the registrations table.
