3M Traffic Safety and Security Division Sponsors the ‘Toward Zero Deaths Pledge Wall’ During ATSSA’s Annual Convention & Traffic Expo FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (January 13, 2016) – 3M Traffic Safety and Security Division will partner with The Foundation in the first-ever "Toward Zero Deaths Pledge Wall" during ATSSA's 46th Annual Convention & Traffic Expo at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Jan. 29-Feb. 2, 2016. Attendees can visit the “Toward Zero Deaths Pledge Wall” to make donations to The Foundation, which promotes roadway safety through charitable giving and public awareness with the National Work Zone Memorial and the Roadway Worker Memorial Scholarship Program. The "Toward Zero Deaths Pledge Wall" will be located in the convention center near the registration kiosk and the entrance of the exhibit hall. Donors can write a message, honor a fallen roadway safety worker or write the amount of the pledge on 3M™ Post-It® Notes, which will be placed on the wall. The company will donate $5,000 to The Foundation and match attendees' donations up to another $5,000 during the event. "Toward Zero Deaths Pledge Wall" donors can also take photos at the wall to feature on social media and use on personal and company websites. Attendees will be able to pledge donations at the 3M-sponsored "Toward Zero Deaths Pledge Wall" during ATSSA's Convention & Traffic Expo. Visit the 3M Wall to make a cash/check donation and write the donor’s name on the Wall or make an online donation through the Mobile App. Donors will be given ribbons to wear under their badges to show they supported The Foundation by pledging at the Wall. “At 3M, we’re passionate about transportation safety and excited to partner with The Foundation to bring the ‘Toward Zero Deaths Pledge Wall’ to ATSSA’s 46th Annual Convention & Traffic Expo,” said 3M U.S. Business Manager Troy Gerry. “3M supports the great work of ATSSA and The Foundation to bring awareness to work zone safety.” The 3M corporate headquarters is located in St. Paul, Minn.
