RENTAL PROCEDURES Bookings: Recreation Director facilitates the bookings for all Town facilities listed above. Phone: 780-387-4180 E-mail:
[email protected] Deposits: All renters must complete a rental agreement at the Town of Millet office. The damage deposit must be received within 14 days of the initial booking to secure the date. Dates not secured with a deposit within the 14 days are removed from the booking calendar. Cancellations: Bookings that are cancelled 30+ days prior to the date the event is to take place will have their full deposit refunded. Bookings that are cancelled between 15-30 days before the event will have 50% of their deposit refunded. Bookings which are not cancelled or are cancelled with less than 15 days notice shall have the entire deposit forfeited. Rentals: The rental must be paid not less than 14 days prior to the event unless prior arrangements have been made with the Recreation Director. The renter may not be allowed in the rental until the rent has been paid. The renter will be charged a rental fee for decorating and set up in the Community Hall. Events that require set up at the Agriplex Banquet Hall will be free of charge, providing there is no conflict with another rental. Licenses: The renter is responsible for all special licenses, permits and insurance. **A copy of the liquor license** must be given to the Town of Millet 1 week prior to your event. All renters are encouraged to purchase PAL (Party Alcohol Liability) insurance which is available through any insurance agency. Clean Up

Renters are responsible for set-up & clean-up of the facilities. Renter responsibilities: Removing decorations and bagging all garbage Take out garbage Put away chairs and tables Cleaning kitchen area including counters, sink, dishes, pots & pans, coffee urns, stoves, ovens, coolers and freezers. Sweep floor. **Clean-up must be done immediately following your event**
Damages In the event of any damages or missing items, the renter will be held responsible for the costs. The renters’ damage deposit will be held until work has been completed, if the cost of the damages or missing items is greater than the damage deposit, the rental will be charged the remaining costs.
