The women’s team matched their top conference finish in school history by finishing 3rd outdoors. That is the 3rd time in the last two years, between the indoor and outdoor team, the women have been 3rd at conference. They also added 3 All-Americans this year with Lydia Meier (Weight-2nd) and Michelle Brandt (Shot-7th) indoors, then Heidi Lieffort outdoors (Discus-8th). The men’s team was very young and rallied to a very strong finish to the end of the year. Despite the 7th place finish at outdoor conference Coach Steiner is very optimistic that they could be contending for a top 3 or 4 finish for both the men and women next year.

Thank You My time as a Blue Devil has been nothing ordinary! Going into my final year I think about all the fun times I have had being part of an athletic department that strives for greatness! Being a student-athlete here has helped me excel in every aspect of Lydia Meier Sr. - Throws my life; school, work, family/friends, and Middleton, WI of course athletics. Without Division III athletics I wouldn’t have made such great friends and met such great people! Thank you for being a part of that experience and all that you do!
