4 Smart Grid, May 2016
Evolution of Smart Grid Most of the grids across the globe were facing ageing infrastrcture with no innovation and upgrades till 1990. Electricity became the most important part of human life and any sudden failure in the grid can create chaos. After 9/11 attacks, companies are concerned about the security involved and thought of improving the grid infrastructure. With the advent of communications, networking technologies and IIoT, grids started getting connected with more information.
