What is e-invoicing?

E-­‐invoicing  is  the  electronic  exchange  of  formaNed  invoice  data  between     a  sender  and  receiver.  The  exchange  is  dependent  on  an  integra@on     between  the  IT  systems  of  sender  and  receiver,  or  the  use  of  a  3rd  party     plaQorm  to  facilitate  the  exchange.     Email  with  aNachments,  such  as  PDF,  are  not  considered  e-­‐invoicing.
