Traffic and Parking Advisory for Monster Jam The Mercedes-Benz Superdome is thrilled to host Monster Jam on Saturday, Jan. 31! If you’re driving to the event, please be aware that parking at the Superdome is limited. It’s best to arrive early to secure a space at the Superdome, or allow yourself ample time to reach downtown New Orleans and find alternate parking. Superdome garages and lots will fill up quickly, starting with the Monster Jam Total Access Party from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and the Pit Party, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Monster Jam begins at 7:00 PM. Once all available on-site parking spaces are filled, patrons approaching by car will be directed away from the Superdome to find parking in the many garages and lots near the stadium. Access to the Superdome via the Superdome/Claiborne Ave. exit off U.S. 90 (Pontchartrain Expressway) will be closed when available spaces are filled. You are strongly advised to plan alternate routes to nearby garages and lots to avoid delays. (All other exits off U.S. 90 and I-10 will remain open.) There is ample parking throughout downtown New Orleans within walking distance of the Superdome. See below for more information.
