Both the Trainer(s) and the Collector trainee must initial when training in a specific area is completed. This is to ensure all areas have been covered and understood. At the conclusion of the training cycle the trainer( s) will certify the trainee by signing in the certification box. If the trainee is certified in all areas the trainer will complete the certification acknowledgement on the last page. The manager or assistant manager of the training plaza must sign the certification acknowledgement. This is to ensure the trainer and plaza management have assessed and discussed the trainee's abilities to perform collector duties.

Employees who report for duty and appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to start a shift (para 7.1.7) - No sleeping or the appearance of sleeping in the work areas (para 7.1.12) - Do not accept gifts, cash, food, or other items from customers (para 7.1.19) - No personal money should be taken to the lanes (para 7.1.23) - Employees must provide the Toll Collection Services contractor with a phone number where they can be reached in case of emergency (para 7.1.25) Be familiar with prohibited activities (para 7.1.26.1 - 7.1.26.6) - All assigned uniform items will be returned to the contractor when employee is no longer assigned to the contract (para 7.2.14) - Worn or damaged uniform items will not be worn (para 7.2.12) - Employees failing to report in acceptable attire will not be allowed to work (para 7.2.23) - Be familiar with Florida's Turnpike Enterprise mission, goals, and understand how your position duties and responsibilities relate to them (para 7.6.7) - Advise the supervisor or facility manager of any suspected security violations or issues (para 7.7.1.5) - Do not allow anyone including a supervisor or manager to use your assigned access card (para 7.7.2.4) - All cash handling procedures can be accomplished using the Jet Scan currency counter (para 7.9.3.1 -7.9.3.7) '. - Safety vest will be available at the toll facility for employee use (para 7.2.20) - Safety vest are not permitted to be worn in toll booths (para 7.2.21) Personal Appearance Uniform Requirements Neat and clean uniform (para 7.2.1 and 7.2.10) - Worn and damaged uniforms should be exchanged (para 7.2.12) - Proper shoes (para 7.2.5) - DOT name tag (para 7.2.17) Breaks and Lunch Period - Never leave your assigned lane without authorization or are relieved by another employee (para 7.6.10) Do not write or deface posted notices (para 7.1.20) Smoking prohibited in booths, in lanes, DOT vehicles and administration building.
