Treasurers Breakfast 2017 Llandaff Diocese is privileged to have our esteemed colleagues from the Diocese of Liverpool to lead this training day. This event is not to be missed and the highlight of the 2017 Treasurer Training Programme within Llandaff Diocese.

Treasurers Breakfast 2017 Programme/Presentations Registration and refreshments (Breakfast rolls will be served from 8.30am) Opening Plenary from Bishop June Update from the Diocese: The Diocesan Accountant will provide an update of the latest areas of stewardship and finance resource support including, Giving for Life programme, new E-Zine, and updated web pages and resources.

Workshop Sessions: Sessions will be led by the Learning & Stewardship Team from the Diocese of Liverpool 1.

PAYE & Payroll : Do you pay people for services they provide to your church? This session will help you establish whether you have an employee and if so what you need to do.

Charity Essentials and Governance : This session will help you ensure you are compliant with Charity Law and Charity Commission regulations, and govern your parish appropriately.

Beyond the Collection Plate: Beyond the Collection Plate stresses the importance of stewarding existing resources and of cultivating generosity in church congregations, while considering how new income streams can be developed and will be presented by the book’s author Steve Pierce.

Theological Reflection on the Role of Treasurer Session will be led by the Parish Giving Adviser from the Diocese of Hereford A thought provoking end to the morning which will consider the role of the treasurer in the context of biblical teaching
