This is an easy but cute way to fix your deviled eggs this Easter. Need: 1 Doz. Eggs, Mayo, Mustard, Salt to taste, Raisin pieces Carrot shavings, Lettuce leafs Hard boil your eggs, Cool them.
Deviled Egg Chicks
Take a pointed sharp knife and cut into the eggs 1/4 from the pointed top of the egg. Continue to cut up and down in a zig zag way until you have cut all around the egg. Take top off. Gently spoon out all of the yellow egg yolks from the white part of the egg. Place yellow yokes in a small zip lock bag and mash. Add mayo, a squirt of mustard and some salt to the bag. Seal and mash until smooth. Add the mayo a little at a time to make sure the mixture is creamy not dry. Push all of the mixture to the corner of the bag and twist the bag tightly. Snip the corner of the bag and squeeze to fill the white eggs just over the top as though you were making a chicks head. Add the top of the egg on, then add snips of raisins for the eyes and a small snip of the carrot for the beak. Place on a bed of lettuce leaves...there ya go-cute chicks !ready to be eaten by small hands. YUMMY.
