Fashion Fabric Purchase 1 yard of cotton fabric with a Halloween theme. Firm fabrics work best. Consider an overall print. FYI, Joann Fabrics has Halloween fabric with light reflective motifs Interfacing One-half yard of heavy weight fusible interfacing. About the Embroidery Design The lettering design will be provided. After this class, you can try other embroidery designs. What to Bring to the Class G Sewing/embroidery machine in good operating condition. G Embroidery Unit & large hoop. Viking Designers use the large hoop. Brother ULT & Innovis extra-large hoop. Pfaff 2100 series use the large hoop. Brother 8500 use the jumbo multi-position hoop. G Two ball point needles size 90/14 G Two universal needles 90/14. G Satin-stitch/decorative stitch foot for machine. G Polyester sewing thread to blend with your fabric. G A bobbin wound with the sewing thread. G Embroidery thread for your design. You only need one color for the lettering. G Bobbin thread G Chaco-liner chalk dispenser in light blue or white G Package or roll of black Sulky TearEasy stabilizer to fit your hoop. G Super Solvy topping G 24" rotary ruler G Rotary Cutter 45mm G Fabric scissors G Long straight pins G Quilting pins G KK2000 or 505 temporary spray adhesive. G Seam gauge G Sewing awl

What to Do before Coming to Class To help us keep to our schedule, you should cut pieces of your fabric and interfacing before the class. From your fashion fabric cut the following pieces: G Fabric Section of Bag: 2 pieces 18"(width of fabric) x 18"(length of fabric) If you have purchased a fabric with a one-way design, cut one of these pieces 18" (width of fabric) x 19" length of fabric. G Top Fabric Strip: 2 pieces 18" (width of fabric) x 6" (length of fabric) G Interfacing: 1 piece 17" square.
