Trinity Community Church: Partners & Missions We Support Community Partners: A Door of Hope (Wilmington & Newark) – Crisis & Counseling Pregnancy Centers Convoy of Hope (USA & International) –Disaster Relief Response Family Promise (New Castle County) –Helps homeless & low-income families achieve sustainable independence Love Inc. (New Castle) –Owned & supported by local churches, showing the love of Jesus Christ through service. This ministry evaluates requests & provides food, clothing, shelter, budgeting assistance, & counseling. Prison Outreach of Delaware—Life skills training, counseling, worship & teaching Sunday Breakfast Mission (Wilmington)—Men’s Shelter, Women & Family Shelter, Discipleship Ministry, Back to School Rally, Great Thanksgiving Banquet, & Food Outreach Teen Challenge—12-month residential services for all ages struggling with life-controlling addictions Student Ministries: Delaware Youth for Christ (Wilmington) –Provides critical delinquency prevention & intervention to aid at-risk youth Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) –The mission of FCA is “to present to coaches & athletes, & all whom they influence, the challenge & adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior & Lord, serving Him in their relationships & in the fellowship of the church.” Intervarsity, University of Delaware –Student-led campus ministry, whose purpose is “to establish and advance witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord: growing in love for God, God’s Word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture and God’s purposes in the world.” Project Crossroad (Elkton, MD & Newark, DE) –Empowers at-risk youth through education, mentoring, & a variety of support programs Urban Promise (Wilmington) –Equips children & young adults through after school programs, summer camps, Street Leader job training, Urban Promise School & Academy Young Life Delaware –Invests time with teenagers to build lasting friendships & shares God’s love through Young Life clubs & camps.
