It was the longest completion of the day for Printz.  Stedman Mayberry scored his fifth rushing touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter. He is now tied with Tyler Jones for the team lead on the season.  Conner White led the Bobcats with 108 through the air. He finished 8-of-16 with an interception in his first career start.  Elijah King hauled in four receptions for 84 yards. He caught two 33-yard passes from White. Defensive Notes  Bryan London led the Bobcats for the second straight game in tackles. He had 10 tackles, seven of them solo.  Gabe Loyd had nine tackles, eight of them solo and two of them for a loss. He was also credited with a quarterback hurry.  Quinn Tiggs set a new career-high with nine tackles. His previous best was eight at Arkansas this season.  Jeremy Miller recorded his first career sack. He finished the contest with two tackles for loss.  Stanley Kanu and Dean Taylor combined for half a sack each. Special Teams Notes  Brandon McDowell returned a kickoff 42 yards with 10 seconds left in the first half.  Lumi Kaba punted six times for an average of 31.8 yards and a long of 41.  Texas State blocked their seventh kick of the season on a PAT in the second quarter. Hal Vinson got his hand on the ball for his first career blocked kick. Season Notes  First time in 34 games that Tyler Jones did not start at quarterback for the Bobcats.

 

Bobcats are now 2-9 on the season and 0-7 in the Sun Belt Conference. Texas State closes out the season next Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at home against Arkansas State. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
