All scholarship applications must be submitted prior to class start date. Essays of 250 words or less will be rated based on the following system: 10% professionalism of the response 20% articulation of thought in the fewest number of words 70% content of the question. All applicants must complete as part of the submission process: “What is my primary goal in life and why am I a candidate for this cosmetology scholarship?” $2,000 Tuition Scholarship: Up to 13, $2,000 Tuition Scholarships may be awarded to qualifying persons who enroll and start classes from April 2016 to October 2016. Awards will be determined by the highest category GPA and/or the quality/content of the letter of recommendation. All decisions by The Academy Scholarship Committee are final. Prospective Student must provide:
Official High School Transcripts showing a minimum 2.5 GPA
Submit one letter of character recommendation
Typed Essay
Scholarship application details must be completed and submitted prior to class start date
Student must have proper identification for admissions, such as Driver’s License and Permanent Citizenship ID
Scholarships will be awarded prior to the first day of class and credited to the student’s account at the end of the student’s first payment period (1-450 hours) pending the student completed the payment period within the maximum week’s allowed to maintain SAP/completed all coursework with a minimum of 80% GPA o
An awarded scholarship becomes null and void if above completion timelines and GPA requirements are not fulfilled
Scholarship applicant must be a 2016 graduate of a Lee County Public High School

Student Section METHOD OF CREDITING SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship, if awarded, is a one-time award and must be applied to the student’s tuition costs. Scholarship may not be applied to kit or registration fees. It may also not be applied to over contract fees Scholarship winners will be awarded by a committee comprised of members from The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools and The Salon Professional Academy This scholarship is non-transferable Incomplete applications will not be considered Student understands this scholarship will be applied upon completion of 450 hours within the maximum timeframe to meet SAP requirements including completion of all course work required within the payment period and meeting an 80% or higher GPA at The Salon Professional Academy, 1388 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907
Enrollment Requirements to The Salon Professional Academy
Provide High School Diploma and High School Transcripts proving graduation date and 2.5 grade point Enrollment application and registration fee
VERIFICATION OF INFORMATION The information I have provided is true and accurate. I understand the penalty for falsifying my scholarship application will result in forfeiting my right to receive this scholarship.
