Size 5 mm (U.S. 8) knitting needles. Size 5.5 mm (U.S. 9) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge. Size 5.5 mm (U.S. 9) circular knitting needle, 16" [40 cm] long. Stitch marker. Yarn needle. GAUGE In Openwork Pattern, 14 sts and 21 rows = 4" [10 cm], using larger needles.
BAcK Work as for Front. FINISHING Block pieces to measurements. Sew side and bottom Sleeve seams. Sew top of Sleeve/shoulder seams, leaving 14" [35.5 cm] neck opening, or to suit. Sleeve cuffs With RS facing, using circular needle, pick up and knit 62 (64, 64, 72) sts around Sleeve edge. Join to work in the rnd; place marker at beginning of rnd. Work in Garter st for 2" [5 cm]. Cast off all sts. Using yarn needle, weave in ends.
