Dear SPE Member. It is our pleasure to invite you to the first Combined Section Field Trip to the Basel area from May 8 – 10, 2017. Together with our local sponsor Endress+Hauser we have organized visits to a shale rock laboratory and the production and calibration centers of oil field sensors. The CEO of Endress+Hauser will also attend when our 2017 SPE President, Janeen Judah presents her keynote speech. In addition you can listen to a SPE lecture on Tuesday evening.

Participants can park their car at Hotel Stücki and use the bus for the trip to St. Ursanne, or later at 12:00 directly from Hotel Stücki to Endress+Hauser in Maulburg. The “Mobility Ticket” issued by Hotel Stücki for their residents allows free of charge transportation by bus and tram in Basel. Tram Nr. 8 drives from the hotel directly to Basel center, Marktplatz, next to the restaurant Safranzunft and back. Cost Structure: At your own cost travel to and from Basel hotel in Basel or surrounding (we blocked 50 rooms at Hotel Stücki, SFR 145,- per night, you get contacted by them for” your binding booking” !!) dinner on Monday share of bus travel from Hotel Stücki towards Mont Terri, St. Ursanne and back (around € 20)
