3. Sew one Tumble Block Template #1 corner triangle to each side of (1) D 8" square. Make (21) Tumble Blocks. Squares measure 10 ½".
7. Sew (1) Double Tumble Block Template #2 corner triangle to the top of same C square. Continue in same manner around Open square. seam

QUILT LAYOUT Refer to quilt diagram on next page for placement For quilt Layout (7) rows of (6) blocks – rotating Tumble and Double Tumble blocks. Sew blocks together to make rows. Sew rows together to make quilt top. For runner Layout (8) rows of (2) blocks – rotating Tumble and Double Tumble blocks. Sew blocks together to make rows. Sew rows together to make quilt top. Measure width and length of project to ensure border cutting sizes. Below are our sizes.

For quilt - Sew (1) A 1 ½" x 70 ½" strip to the left and right of quilt top. Sew (1) A 1 ½" x 62 ½" strip to the top and bottom of quilt top. Repeat using the E 3" fussy cut strips. For runner - Sew A 1 ½" x 80 ½" strip to the left and right of runner. Sew (1) A 1 ½" x 22 ½" strip to the the top and bottom of runner. Repeat using the E 3" fussy cut strips.

8. Finish seam that was left open to end of triangles to make (1) Double Tumble Block. Make (21) Double Tumble Blocks. Squares measure 10 ½".
FINISHING Cut batting and backing 3" longer than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and top and baste or pin. When quilt is completed, trim excess batting and backing. Bind as usual.
