Turban Footstool Class Sheila Snyder Supply List: For the initial class: 56 (or more for variety) strips, 2-2 ½” width, 20” length.  A jelly roll can work perfectly if it has a lot of variety.  7 fat quarters can be used if you prefer repeated panels around your footstool. Please cut 8 strips from each fat quarter.  If using your stash, please pre-cut your strips. 1 ½ yd, good quality muslin (not too stretchy) that can be seen through easily to trace lines. 12” or longer ruler Ball point pen Matching color thread, or if scrappy fabrics are used, a neutral. Basic sewing supplies: Pins, thread snips, shears, seam ripper, sewing machine manual. Supply List: For the finishing class: Your FINISHED upholstery piece. 1 hi-loft batting, crib size or larger. ½ yd craft felt, color to coordinate with your fabrics, or black. 1 large (at least 2”) decorative button. We will talk about this in the first class. 1 flat plain button for the bottom. 4 feet. These can be handmade or purchased. We will talk about this in class.
