Our Global Logistics operations in Singapore are expanding and we are recruiting 2 Junior Associates who will be up for a challenge to be groomed to be our next warehouse leaders. The Junior Associate Program is a program launched to equip those who are passionate and would like to be groomed as future leaders in the Company. As a Junior Associate, you will be part of a comprehensive “On the Job” Training programme and perform in key area of the Organization – Operations Department. You will be exposed in different roles in Inbound, Outbound, Packaging, Lean and Training. You will receive hands on training from various departments, including: learning and performing daily tasks in Shop, learn about people management while partnering with a more senior supervisor, gain technical expertise in respective functional area, implement improvement ideas, etc. You will be supervised by a member of the Operations or Quality Team and will be supported by Lean and Team Based Work System Manager for the duration of your assignment. Once you have successfully completed your apprenticeship you will be considered for a Team Leader role or higher in the Operations Department or Quality Department. Responsibilities: Perform job as per attachment program in various areas in Operations (Inbound, Outbound, Packaging, Lean, Training) Lead and engage in improvement projects (A3 and 6S) Active participation in organization’s process and safety improvement program in the Shop (i.e Gemba walk, Fixing Safety issues, etc)
Qualifications: Diploma in Supply Chain / Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering discipline Attention to detail Strong analytical thinking Confidence in public speaking Comfortable to lead and influence others positively Ability to adapt to changes Strong commitment to work Able to quickly learn & acquire new skills Possesses strong integrity, work ethics & team working spirit Microsoft Office proficient and comfortable to use various IT systems
