Race #8 of the OK Tour de Dirt Race Series October 5th & 6th, 2013 Westside YMCA, Tulsa, OK Held under USAC permit pending. Get ready for a great weekend of MTB racing-Festival Atmosphere, Family Friendly, Kids Activities, DJ, Food Trucks, Plenty of Drink, Awesome Post Race Party, Saturday SuperD, Live Band, Sunday XC. All courses are spectator friendly. Saturday - SuperD, 4pm. Time Trial format. Start at the “point” and race down to the YMCA. Course will utilize most of the last half of the Cat3 XC course. Register at the YMCA from 1-3 PM Saturday. Race start at 4:00. All Cats will be open; Male and Female. Cash, prizes, and bragging rights to the winners. $5 Entry Fee, One run per paricipant. Sunday - XC Course Description: Staging and start/finish will be at the YMCA. 2 separate courses. Cat1/2 course will be a short, approx 4 mile, but challenging track featuring trails never before used at the classic venue. The Cat3 course will be beginner friendly, fun, 5 mile route. Killer, custom, handmade buckles to male winners in all Cats and age groups. Sweet, custom, handmade earrings for the ladies. Directions: Westside Y, 5400 S. Olympia, Tulsa, OK 74107. Conveniently located at the intersection of I-75 and I-44 just west of the Arkansas river. Sunday XC: ***Race day registration will include an additional $5 charge for all Cats except Kids Kup and Jrs. Kids Kup 9:00 a.m. medals free age appropriate loop Cat 2 10:00 a.m. awards $30 4 laps of the Cat1/2 course Cat 3 10:50 a.m. awards $25 2 laps of the Cat3 course Cat 1 11:00 a.m. 100%; 40% deep $30 6 laps of the Cat1/2 course Cat1 Jr, Cat1 50+, and all Cat1 women will race the Cat2 distance. Clydesdale, Single Speed, and 60+ are open classes and race Cat2 distance. Categories/Classes per Tour de Dirt rules. Age classes will start at 1-2 minute intervals. Classes with fewer than five participants may be combined. Distances are approximate. Promoter reserves the right to combine classes and adjust courses as needed. Awards for all Cats and Classes will be at approximately 1:30. Registration: Registration opens online at www.usacycling.org and closes Wednesday evening prior to the event. Saturday registration from 1-3 on site. Race Day registration starts at 8:00 a.m. Sunday for all classes and closes 30 minutes prior to your scheduled race. USAC release and TDD registration froms can be located at www.tourdedirt.org under the INFO/FORMS tab. USAC rules apply and USAC Mountain license required for all participants. Racers with no license must purchase a one day license for $5. A TDD number plate is required, $5 (waived for Kids Kup). Helmet required for all riders.
