Twister Tote Bag
o “Simply Charming Twister Tote” pattern MUST HAVE o Lil’ Twister Tool MUST HAVE
ILT
o Fabrics: 30 - 5” charms or squares of your choice consisting of an assortment of fabrics of contrasting values and colors; 1 yard of fabric for twister borders, lower exterior, handles and interior pockets; 1 yard for lining/interior of tote o Shapeflex – 3 yards of 20/22” wide (This will stabilize the fabric.)
QU
o Firm fusible interfacing – 1/3 yard for interior pockets and snap areas
o Foam core interfacing like Soft and Stable (18” package) or a fusible fleece. Soft and Stable will give a more stable tote.
PA TC H
o One magnetic snap closure set
o Sewing machine in good working condition with foot pedal and cords; bring your instruction book if you aren’t very familiar with your machine o Quarter inch foot, walking foot (easy feed) o A new needle - 12/80 or 14/90 o Neutral thread (I prefer Aurifil)
o Fine pins and clips are extremely helpful
CO TT ON
o Sharp rotary cutter (a new blade makes cutting so much easier), a 45mm or 60mm o Ruler 6.5 x 12 or longer (We have rulers at the shop to use also.)
