ENMU-Roswell Welding Technology Program is just one of the many career-oriented programs offered on campus. The welding program offers a Basic Certificate of Employability, an Advanced Certificate of Employability and also an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Welding Technology. Along with this, they offer dual credit courses to their local high school welding programs and New Mexico Youth Challenge program. The welding program is taught by Certified Welding Inspectors and Educators with years of knowledge and experience to deliver the tools needed in the welding industry. Lead welding instructor Dusty Baker, graduated through the ENMU-Roswell welding program in 2004. He gained experience working at a local machine shop and taught welding part-time up until 2009 when he was hired as the lead welding instructor. Longtime adjunct welding instructors and ENMU-R graduates of the welding program are; Jordan Daniels, Tod Carroll, John Hibbard and Daniel Mathews.

You can get to our welding department by following the campus map. There are two ways to reach our campus: 1) Head south on main street until it deadends at Martin Street. Take a right and then a left on University Blvd. then a right on Mathis Street and a left into the parking lot D. Follow the parking lot south to the Welding Department. 2) When you come into town, get on the truck by-pass headed south. When you come to the stop sign at Sunset Ave. make a right turn. Follow this and it will turn into Earl Cummings Loop. Take a left on Mathis Street then continue to parking lot D. Follow the parking lot south to the Welding Department.
