How it works Should your tyre(s) and/or alloy(s) suffer accidental or malicious damage simply register your claim by phone and complete a claims form.
Why choose Tyre & Alloy Insurance by smart? • Y ou can choose the term of your policy from 24, 36 and 48 months to complement the length of time that you plan to own your smart • Y ou are covered for 5 tyre replacements and 6, 8 or 10 alloy replacements (depending on your policy term), up to your aggregate claims limit as detailed in your policy schedule, throughout the policy duration • E uropean cover as standard • W hen making a claim, your motor insurance no claims bonus will not be affected • A £25 excess is payable for each claim per tyre and/or alloy you make • T he insurer will replace alloy wheels to smart specifications with a re-manufactured alloy wheel • W hen making a claim for a damaged tyre the tread depth must be above 2mm anywhere across 75% of the width of the tyre • Repairs can be carried out where possible on tyres. *The £25 excess is payable for each claim per alloy and/or Tyre you make e.g. if you submit a claim for an alloy and tyre and the tyre is fitted to the same wheel (Complete Wheel) this will incur one excess, however, if you make a claim for a wheel and tyre and the tyre is on a different wheel this would incur two excesses. The excess is payable to the Retailer.
