Treasurer Report
Tom: We are on budget (which is through the end of the month). Expenses: MYSA has not been paid yet, Breakaway was a little more than budgeted (will be over by $2000), under on facilities, haven't paid accountant for taxes yet. Motion to pass the budget by Tom second by Jonathan. All in favor, motion passes.
Field Prep/Volunteers/ Fields needed
Jorge emailed town manager. Plowing was attempted, but it has been too icy. It has been salted. Need to figure out fields that are essential to clear and determine practice schedule. 1- 4 U8/U10 and 1 practice U12. Volunteers needed to set up the fields. An email will be sent out for volunteers for next weekend or, depending on the weather, March 29th/30th. The lower field is set up with stakes. Everything is getting rotated. Corner flags, goals/nets/clips, paint. Projected start date is April 4th. Contractors are going down to give bids for bathrooms.
MYSL spring dates
Mike: MYSL season April 5th - June 7th. End of Year Tournaments: Commissioners Cup June 21/22 MTOC June 27/28/29 Mass Cup June 27/28/29
Policy Review/ Coaches selection/travel tryouts/coaches application
Coaches Meeting March 23 @ police station 7-9 to hand out IDs, review policy, uniforms, balls, explain player development and refs. Coaches application : April 1st - April 28th Tryouts: $1200 to hire Brian Kelly, new evaluation system - look for consistency. Proposal to pick the coaches after the tryouts to be placed in the correct spots after tryouts. Coaches’ selection at May meeting. Proposed tryouts 1st/8th alternating boys/girls am/pm. Proposed idea for a draft for the lowest two teams who play in the same division. Will get a quote from Brian for tryouts. Intertown: Propose to place 3-4 travel teams and the bottom 1-2 teams play more of a recreation league. Middlesex only has 4-5 teams. Negatives

Formatting and grammatical changes made to Dog Policy, Hardship Policy, In-Tow Game Rescheduling Policy, Lightening Policy, Tie Vote Policy, Travel Registration Policy, Uniform Purchasing Policy Commissioner cup updated to include all travel teams, removed trophy and included purchase of sweatshirt and/or jacket for winning team. Intown Game Rescheduling updated to indicate U8 and not U10 Uniform purchasing policy: Remove that board needs to follow up on uniform size for verification Scholarship policy: formatting and grammar changes. The objective is to distribute scholarships each year not to exceed $3000. Conflict of Interest Policy: Formatting and grammatical changes as well as removal of outdated language. Laura: U4, U5, U6, U8 Given the conditions of the field, pushing start from 4th to the 11th still playing 8 games and finishing the first week in June. Proposing last weekend having an on-field and in person registration and have apparel to sell. Table for registration and table for apparel.
Uniform/Spring equipment
Jonathan: Spring equipment: All we need is game balls (some left from fall). Every travel team gets a new game ball for spring (to be picked up at coaches meeting). Uniforms: Travel uniforms: We have a procedure for renewal of uniforms. Typically $30-50 price range. Uniform vendors change production dates. As of April 30th, Under Armor is no longer producing our uniform. Keep the

current uniform and do another fill in year. We have about 200 uniforms (20 spare inventory). Can preorder for the fall, but there is possibility that TYSL will end up with a surplus of uniforms. Can we do a survey to seek out interest in purchasing for the fall? Will order based on projected and seek out alternate shirts or discontinued shirts if needed. John: Website minutes are updated. Winter refund policy needs to be included on registration. There is a request in from a U10 mid season. Board discussed. The winter season breaks even, there is no surplus. Their money has been paid to facility. Motion by Jon to grant the refund. There is no second therefore there is no vote. Spring prep: Curriculum. On US soccer there is a 117 player development program. The program gives a good foundation of age appropriate skills. Jon will pull together a few sheets of curriculum for the age directors to give out at the coaches meeting. Smiles for Shane: putting together a basket for the fundraiser/scholarship with a shirt, size 4 ball, $50 credit towards registration.
Mass cup
Tom will email. In need of field marshals. Looking for other options for a tshirt vendor. Jonathan asks for handouts to give opposing coaches during he the season to advertise.
