UChicago Arts Logo usage guidelines PLEASE READ: The logo files accompanying this usage guide are available in both .eps and .jpeg formats and in the color options shown below (maroon, black, gray, and white/reversed out). Maroon is the preferred color option. Color values match university visual identity standards (see http://identity.uchicago.edu/guidelines/palette.shtml). .Eps is the preferred file format. Always “place” or “insert” the actual file into your document. NEVER copy and paste from this .pdf. Always take care to maintain the proportions of the logo; DO NOT distort by “stretching” or “squeezing” the logo(s). The various formats below provide options for both long horizontal spaces (1 and 2A) and narrow vertical spaces (2B). Placement examples are illustrated on the next two pages. 1. Primary logo This version most accurately positions the arts as an integral part of the University and reinforces the arts brand as part of the University brand. It replicates the standard University signature system. (see http://identity.uchicago.edu/guidelines/logo.shtml —scroll down to “Signature System”) Maroon Preferred

How to incorporate UChicago Arts into your communications As an arts-related entity involved in the effort to raise awareness of the arts at the University of Chicago, please consider incorporating the UChicago Arts logo(s) into your communications efforts. Below are examples demonstrating suggested placement. If you have any questions, please contact UChicago Creative ([email protected]). 1. Primary logo Use this logo to replace the University logo or add it when there is no University logo currently in use. Preferred placement is always in the lower left corner, followed by other partner and/or sponsor logos to the right. Website
