State Presidents serving in a National PTA officer capacity • 48% of respondents felt State Presidents should not serve in National PTA officer capacity • 37% felt State Presidents were eligible to serve in a National PTA officer capacity if they had less than six month remaining in State Presidency term • Committee supports wording of the proposed bylaws revision requiring State Presidents to resign immediately from State Presidency upon election as a National PTA officer
