Club Owners Andy played professional soccer for twenty-three years. He started his career with Arsenal of the English Premier League at age 16 and he turned pro the following year. He came to the United States in 1978 to play for the California Sunshine of the American Soccer League (ASL) before moving on to play for the Detroit Express. This proved to be a great move as the Express won the Championship in 1982 and Andy was named MVP of the league.

Andy played indoor for Wichita, Baltimore, and Cleveland in the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) for 12 seasons. In 1990, he became player-coach of the Detroit Rockers of the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL) for four seasons, and later with the Detroit Neon/Safari for three seasons. Andy finished his career with 307 MISL goals, a tally which ranks 8th all time. In 2000 he came out of retirement to play for the Detroit Rockers , Making him one of only two players to play in four different decades. (You can also see Andy’s jersey on display in the Soccer Hall of Fame, in New York State) Andy has coached youth soccer since 1978. Ian played professional soccer for sixteen years. He began as a youth playing for Manchester United and the Blackburn Rovers team in England. In addition, he was also selected to play on England’s Junior National team at the age of 15. His favorite highlight was scoring a penalty for England against Holland in front of 100,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium and playing at Olympic Stadium in Berlin against Germany. He went on to sign his first professional contract with Liverpool F.C. of the English Premier League at the age of 16 and continued to play for them for four years. Ian came to the United States to play for Fort Lauderdale and Miami of the North American Soccer League (NASL). After a few seasons, he signed on to the Wichita Wings of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) and played indoor for the next ten years. This period included stints with the Detroit Rockers, Detroit Neon, and the Detroit Safari. While playing for the Detroit Safari he was asked to become Interim Head Coach for the remainder of Ian Fairbrother the season after suffering an injury in the 1997-98 season. Although he played many years as a professional soccer player, Ian enjoys coaching youth soccer just as much as he enjoyed playing professionally. Ian currently has a USSF “A” coaching license and is a current member of the PFA (Professional Footballers Association) in England. Ian believes in coaching education Club Owner courses and encourages all UFC staff coaches to keep current with their coaching ideas, Troy Resident philosophies and education.

United FC - Michigan Technical Directors Jake grew up in St. Louis MO before moving to Michigan and has been playing soccer for nearly twenty years. Played on top premier level teams during his youth for U of D Jesuit HS. While at U of D Jesuit HS he was named to All-State team and won the 2001 State Championship. Upon graduation, he was offered a full ride scholarship to play for Quincy University , a NCAA Division II college, in Quincy ,IL He began coaching the past 5 years. U.S.S.F. "D" Coaching License

Greg is a native of Essex , England . He played and captained his high school for 5 years as well as representing the county of Essex as a school boy. Greg went on to play semiprofessionally for several years before concentrating on coaching. He began coaching at 17 and has since Directed sports programs both in England and the USA with great success. Prior to joining the UFC coaching staff Greg had 2 years with the Force Football Club where he directed their Academy Program.

United FC - Michigan Technical Directors Armen Tonianse enters his first season with United FC - Michigan as the Director of Goalkeeping. Tonianse will also serve as the Goalkeeper and Assistant Coach under Head Coach Eric Pogue and Associate Head Coach Steve Gorton at Oakland University. He currently holds USSF National 'C' Coaching License bringing with him experience at the youth, collegiate and semi-professional levels.

At the youth level, Tonianse has served as Head Pro Coach with the Total Demize Soccer Club focusing on developing the base skills.Tonianse has also trained and coached High School aged players, both girls and boys, developing them for collegiate level play. Recently, Tonianse served as the Goalkeeper instructor at the 2013 & 2014 Oakland University High School Boys Elite camp, Head Goalkeeper Coach for the Canadian Valley Futbol Club training keepers from U9-U18 and as Assistant Coach for the Yukon HS Girls soccer program. At the Collegiate level, Tonianse has served as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Western Illinois University under Head Coach Eric Johnson. While at WIU, Tonianse earned a Bachelor’s of Science in RPTA with emphasis on youth sports programming. Tonianse joined the WIU coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant / Goalkeeper Coach .During his graduate assistantship, Tonianse earned his Masters of Science in RPTA with emphasis on Sport and Facility Management. At the semi-professional level, Tonianse has served as Head Coach for 3 seasons, Assistant Coach for 6 seasons and Goalkeeper Coach for 3 seasons with the Springfield Demize PDL team. Tonianse also brings with him an extensive playing experience. At the age of 17, he trained and played with Division II professional side Club Regates Brazil in Maceio, Brazil. Tonianse returned to Oklahoma to finish his high school education and was granted a scholarship to Western Illinois University competing at the NCAA Division I level. In the summer months, Tonianse would continue his playing in Canada with United Soccer Leagues (USL) Premiere Development League (PDL) . Armen Tonianse will look to bring his knowledge and experience to the United FC - Michigan family.

United FC - Michigan Dani is a native of Michigan and played her HS Soccer at Royal Oak Kimball where she received the High School “All State Award”. She was a University of Detroit Mercy 4-year starter and was a 2 year captain of the squad. In addition, she made 2ndteam “All MCC” her freshman year; 1st team “All MCC” her junior and senior year. Her coaching experience includes: 1-year at University of Detroit Mercy Asst Coach; 4 years of High School; and 11 years of coaching youth soccer. Jess played club soccer for USL while growing up in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She attended Utica High School and graduated in 1997 also ran track and played soccer for the Chieftains. A four-year captain for her high school soccer team and currently hold a record for most goals in a career (68), and also in track for the 200m and 400m relay. In 1997 attended the University of Detroit Mercy on a soccer scholarship and worked as the team Grad-Assistant for one year. In 2002, graduated with an Elementary Education degree from UDM and has also earned a Master’s degree in Education from Wayne State University. Started coaching in 1999 worked with girls ages U9-U14. Jessica grew up in Warren, Mi. She started her education and college soccer career at Schoolcraft College where she played two years at SC. During her 2nd year, Jessica was named captain and received first team all region for the 2009-2010 season. She then went on to play at Northern Michigan University where she graduated and received her Bachelors of Science degree with an emphasis in Management of Health and Fitness. Her last semester at NMU involved an internship with the head USOEC (United States Olympic Education Center) Weightlifting coach who was also the head strength and condition coach for the NMU Women’s soccer team. Her Coaching began in 2009 when she coached a U9 girls team for the LCSC Soccer club and in Novi for a soccer program called the LiL’ Kickers. Jessica Lusardi

John grew up in Liverpool England. He went to Edge Hill University where he studied sports psychology and received a bachelor of science in 2013. He has also has 3 years where he studied sports exercise fitness and coaching. John’s soccer career started at the age of 6 where he played for a local soccer team until he was 20 years old. He has a FA Level 1 coaching badge in England and a National D License here in America. He began coaching in England in 2011 for a local U7 boys’ team. B John Bache Coach

United FC - Michigan Ricardo began his professional career at 16 years old playing futsal for Vitoria Club in Brazil for five years. He then went on to play outdoor soccer with Port Morant United, Harzad in Jamaica and futsal with LZV Kypres in Holland . He returned to Brazil and received a futsal scholarship at Faculdade Tecnologia e Ciencias and completed his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. Ricardo moved to the US from Salvador , Bahia , Brazil in 2011. He is a national D certified coach and has been coaching at the club level for the last 8 years.

Christos' soccer career began in his native Greece. He played U12, U15 & U19 for AEK Athens before playing for US Professional AEK Athens. In addition to playing professionally in Greece, he also attended coaching school there. He did friendly coaching in Germany (U15s) and coached the U19s National Team and received the International Coaching Association BRONZE Coaching License. He now holds a MYSA "E" Coaching License and State "D" Coaching License

Tony played soccer all throughout grade school and high school in St.Louis, MO. He was a 4 year starter at Parks College of St. LouisUniversity. He has a BS degree in Transportation & Tourism and holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary. He has been coaching soccer for 12 years (club soccer for the past 6 years) and has a USSF "D" License. In St. Louis, he was instrumental in developing a 4v4 urban youth soccer league for refugee children. His passion for soccer is displayed when he helps children develop a love for the game and build their knowledge and grow in their skills. Tony Boos Coach

United FC - Michigan Alec grew up in Birmingham Michigan and began playing competitive soccer at the age of seven. In addition to playing at the premier travel, MRL and varsity level throughout High School, Alec has represented the United States playing in European international competitions as a USA Sports Ambassador. He is currently studying Sports Management with a concentration in coaching. In addition, he currently holds a national coaching “E” license

Robert played goalie for the First Division, Professional Krakow Soccer Team of Poland for seven years after attending the University where he studied Sports Science. A back injury took him out of professional soccer and into coaching two major youth Soccer Clubs in Krakow. Robert brought his coaching and soccer experience to UFC in 2004.

Jordan grew up in Royal Oak where his soccer career started at age of 6. Advancing in the sport with every opportunity, he continue to develop his ability and skills through youth soccer in Clawson Strikers Travel Soccer programs and then on to United FC under tutorage of Ian Fairbrother through his high school years. At Royal Oak High School Jordan played soccer and continued to develop his game. Jordan has share his love for the game by sharing his knowledge and skills to youth players at soccer camps, United FC Academy Rec League and other training sessions. United FC - Michigan Native of Michigan, I began playing as a youth through the Warren soccer league and San Marino and also trained in Montenegro with their youth develop coach. I played for center line high school where I was named captain, I led the team in goals all 4 years and hold the record for most points in a season, in high school i received the all-state award my junior and senior year. After high school I continued my education and soccer career at Macomb community college where we won the regional tournament in 2008. I began my coaching career as an assistant in 2010 at center line high school and coached under 9 in the Warren youth soccer league. I have also coached soccer camps through San Marino and Royal Oak. Currently hold an "E" coaching license.
