1-DAY P ARK PLAN
Universal Studios Florida® Being Harry Potter™ fans, we’re a little bit biased, but Universal Studios Florida is home to the most amazingly themed land of any park we’ve ever visited — The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley™. Through painstaking detail, experiential retail and interactive experiences, Diagon Alley, which opened in July 2014, is as close as you can get to hopping right into the movies and books! With the headlining Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts™, guests are transported inside Gringotts bank for a wild ride some 10 miles down into the bowels of the wizarding world’s most secure vault, where they’ll cross paths with Harry, Ron and Hermione, Bellatrix Lestrange and the evil Lord Voldemort! The rest of Universal Studios Florida is divided into “backlots,” including Hollywood, New York and San Francisco, and Springfield U.S.A., a not-too-miss area of shops and restaurants themed around The Simpsons. Photo ops abound with plenty of iconic Simpson’s locales, including Moe’s Tavern and Krusty Burger. The park opens up to 30 minutes ahead of its official opening, usually with a handful of attractions in operation (Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit®, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem®, Shrek 4-D and TRANSFORMERS™: The Ride 3D). Out of these attractions, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem by far receive the longest waits because of high popularity and low load capacity. (During Early Park Admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts is only available to guests staying on-site.)
A word about Universal Express℠ Pass: All of Universal Studios Florida’s rides offer Universal Express Pass, or skip the lines access, with the exception of Kang & Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl and Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts. Even faster than Universal Express Pass are the single rider lines, so consider splitting up when wait times are at their highest.

Universal Studios Florida 1-Day Park Plan We’ve created this one-day park plan for Universal Studios Florida so you can experience the most popular attractions with the lowest waits. This plan assumes you are not staying on-site at a Universal Orlando® Resort hotel*, and you are entering the park ahead of official opening and finishing in the evening. Normally we would recommend riding a ride as popular as Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts at park opening, but if you are not staying on-site and therefore do not have one-hour Early Park Admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you will find lower waits in the afternoon. Because the Hogwarts™ Express requires a Park-to-Park ticket, we have not included it in this one-day plan. *If you are staying at a Universal Orlando® Resort hotel, we recommend taking advantage of Early Park Admission to experience The Wizarding World of Harry Potter when crowds are at their absolute lowest, with the option to revisit it in the evening.
