DONOHER BASKETBALL CENTER RENOVATION LOCKER NAMING CAMPAIGN Within the renovation of the Donoher Basketball Center, both the men’s and women’s teams will receive custom millworked lockers. The Division of Athletics is seeking philanthropic gifts in support of this project which will allow donors to “name” a locker for themselves or in the memory of a family member or loved one. Minimum gifts of $25,000 (payable up to 5 years) are required to name a locker and a minimum number of lockers are available for naming. Making a Contribution or Commitment Outright contributions are always accepted but donors may make a commitment (pledge) to maximize their level of philanthropic support with installments (pledge payments) being contributed annually for a period of up to five years. Fulfilling a Contribution or Commitment Donors may use a variety of methods to make their philanthropic contribution. Personal or foundation gifts are accepted as well as stocks and appreciated securities which may offset capital gains due to the tax deductible nature of the gift. Commitment schedules can be tailored to the donors needs with the option of annual, quarterly and monthly installments. Recognition Contributions to athletics at the University of Dayton are 100% tax deductible and recognized by the Champions & Scholars Fund at the annual dollar amount contributed within a fiscal year. Donors also have the capability to give anonymously.
