Acts 11 11::19 19--26 Now those who were scattered after the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to no one but the Jews only only.. 20But some of them were men from Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists, preaching the Lord Jesus Jesus.. 21And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord Lord.. 22Then news of these things came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch Antioch..

he came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad, and encouraged them all that with purpose of heart they should continue with the Lord Lord.. 24For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith faith.. And a great many 25 people were added to the Lord Lord.. Then Barnabas departed 26 for Tarsus to seek Saul Saul.. And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch Antioch.. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people.. And the disciples were first called Christians in people Antioch.. Antioch

“continue with the Lord” Lord” Jn 8:31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed indeed.. 1 Jn 2:24 Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning beginning.. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.. Father
Acts 4:36 – called the “Son of Encouragement” & gave a huge offering to the early church Acts 9:27 – Barnabas introduces Paul to the Apostles and defends his conversion Acts 15 15::25 – Barnabas is called “beloved”

Acts 11 11::24 For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith faith.. And a great many people were added to the Lord Lord..
1. Barnabas was a “good man” This says something about his character 2 Pet 1:5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge Rom 5:3-4 … knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;; 4and perseverance, character perseverance character;; and character, hope hope.. Phil 2:22 But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the gospel gospel..

2. Barnabas was “full of the Holy Spirit” This says something about his Christianity Eph 5:18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation;; but be filled with the Spirit, dissipation Phil 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God God.. Gal 5:9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth
3. Barnabas was “full of faith” This says something about his commitment 1 Cor 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful faithful.. Acts 25 25--26 Then Barnabas departed for Tarsus to seek Saul Saul.. 26And when he had found him him,, he brought him to Antioch Antioch.. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people people..
Seek eek:: anazeteo = seek up and down – same as when Joseph and Mary sought for Jesus when they lost him (Lk 2:44 44--45 45))

Mt 6:1-4 “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them them.. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven heaven.. 2Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men men.. Assuredly, I say to you, they have 3 their reward reward.. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4that your charitable deed may be in secret secret;; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly openly..
Mk 9:41 For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward reward.. 1 Cor 15 15::58 Therefore Therefore,, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord Lord.. Rev 14 14::13 ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on on..’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them them..”
