Acts 11 11::19 19--26 Now those who were scattered after the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to no one but the Jews only only.. 20But some of them were men from Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists, preaching the Lord Jesus Jesus.. 21And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord Lord.. 22Then news of these things came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch Antioch..

Barnabas was a “good man” This says something about his character 2 Pet 1:5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge Rom 5:3-4 … knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;; 4and perseverance, character perseverance character;; and character, hope hope.. Phil 2:22 But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the gospel gospel..

Barnabas was “full of the Holy Spirit” This says something about his Christianity Eph 5:18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation;; but be filled with the Spirit, dissipation Phil 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God God.. Gal 5:9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth
