YELLOW Bands
Children 6-9 yrs who did not pass facility swim test must swim in the shallow end with a Parent / Guardian (16+yrs) Children must remain within arm’s reach at all times. Maximum of 8 children per Parent / Guardian (1:8) with life jackets Maximum of 4 children per Parent / Guardian (1:4) without life jackets
OR (1:4) WITHOUT LIFE JACKETS
GREEN Bands
Children 6-15 yrs who have successfully completed the facility swim test may swim in either end of the pool unattended. Parent / Guardian (16+yrs) must remain on deck to directly supervise.
No Band

Swimmers 10 - 15 yrs may swim unaccompanied in shallow end. Must complete swim test to swim in the deep end. (See Green Band) Parent / Guardian (16+yrs) must remain on deck to directly supervise. * SCHOOL GROUPS/ CAMPS/ RENTALS – Due to the depth of the Queen’s ARC shallow end, all swimmers who are unable to pass the facility swim test and unable to reach the minimum height requirement of 4ft 10 inches will be required to wear a lifejacket in the shallow end.
