TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE Symptom

Probable cause

No hot water Electricity not on or one of the supplies has failed

MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY Remedy Check electricity supply.

Plumbing crossover Test by turning cold water supply off to the hot water generator, then open hot water at one of the outlet. No water should flow, if water is flowing then you might have plumbing crossover that needs to be corrected for the unit to operate properly. Water flow rate is less than required minimum.

Increase water flow rate.

The flow sensor is not working

Turn off the power, open the unit and verify the flow sensor not obstructed by debris.

Temperature setting Verify the temperature is too low setting. The inlet water Reduce the flow rate. temperature has dropped considerably There might be restrictions in the plumbing

Water supply pressure too low

Make sure install and use the Water Valve (included) at outlet to calibrate the hot water and temperature, without this valve, you might run into a lukewarm water. See the diagram below.

SUCH WARRANTIES DO NOT COVER:

Product failure caused by chemical corrosion, or freezing. Product failure due to lightning, flood or other natural or manmade calamities.

Check the plumbing. Inspect and clean inlet filter screen to the hot water heater. Check that all inlet shut-off valves are fully open.

Water Fluctuating water Avoid several hot water temperature pressure or changing outlets being used at the fluctuate flow rate same time as this causes the temperature to fluctuate.

Labor charges of any kind .

Warning

How to install the unit and calibrate your hot water using water valve 1. Make sure all electrical wires and water pipes are properly install. Check the power requirement for each model. Before start up, check that all connections are secure and fittings are tight. 2. Make sure use 3/4" pipe instead 1/2" to gain maximum water flow coming inlet and coming outlet also make sure that the heating mode button is in the “OFF” position. 3. Turn off all of your faucets. Open the gate valve at the incoming water point of the unit and verify no leaks. Then open one faucet and allow water to run for 1 minute or until all air is purged from the system. 4. With the water running, use the lower heating mode button to turn on the unit and turn to maximum mode. The water begins to heat and the current temperature is shown in the display. Dial Water valve to calibrate your hot water vs the flow rate. Ideally, you will gain more flow rate by loosing heat as hot water moves from the water heater through quartz elements faster. 5. Calibrate using Gate Valve (water valve) at outlet and choose a desirable temperature by pressing the mode buttons and gate valve until you have a comfortable water temperature. 6. Turn off water and unit is set. Remember: Water temperature depends on water flow, the more water flow, the lower the temperature and vise versa.
