Upper School Dress Code We   believe   that   it   is   important   for   students   to   differentiate   between   school   and   recreational   dress  and  to  realize  that  the  School  sets  high  standards  in  all  areas  of  student  life.  All  students   should  wear  clothes  for  school  that  are  neat,  clean  and  appropriately  fitted.  We  have  adopted  a   dress  code  similar  to  “business  casual”  dress  in  the  workplace.  The  following  guidelines  apply  to   all  students  from  the  time  they  enter  the  building  in  the  morning  until  they  leave  in  the  afternoon.

Pants   Students  should  wear  appropriately  fitted  dress  style  khakis  or  corduroy  pants  with  belt  loops  and  a  belt.   Dress  shorts  (no  patterned  or  cargo  shorts)  may  be  worn  from  the  beginning  of  school  until  Thanksgiving   Break  and  from  Spring  Break  until  the  end  of  the  year.  Common  sense  should  dictate  when  shorts  may   be   worn,   so   if   the   weather   is   unseasonably   warm   before   Spring   Break,   students   may   wear   shorts.   The   following   color   pants   and   shorts   are   permitted:   Khaki   (off-white,   tan,   light   green),   gray,   navy   blue,   and   black.  Jeans,  “skinny-fit”  style  pants,  cargo  pants,  or  cargo  shorts  may  not  be  worn.  Students  are  required   to  wear  a  belt  with  all  regular  pants  and  shorts.  Designer  or  over-sized  belt  buckles  are  not  appropriate.
