Dear Youth Pastor/Leader, UPRISING Youth Convention is our annual event that exists to serve and impact student ministries (High School) across Eastern Ontario with the life giving message of Jesus Christ. This year on May 19 - 21, students and leaders will be gathering in Oshawa, ON at Durham College and Residence for a week-end full of powerful worship, life giving messages, engaging activities and life-changing moments. Our theme this year is, “LAUNCH”. After reading Psalm 127:4 I had a picture of a student being launched like an arrow out from UPRISING’17 back into their community to bring change and hope to specific targeted areas where God has placed them. I’m really praying and believing that this weekend would be one where students’ lives are impacted in such deep ways, that as they are launched back into their world, the impact would reach those dark areas across Eastern Ontario. Will you join me in praying to that effect, that UPRISING’17 would be one where students realize the opportunity before them to bring change to various targeted areas? Daniel Gray will be with us as our keynote speaker. Along with his role as Pastor and Evangelist at The Church at Chapelhill in Douglasville, Georgia he also serves as Chaplain for the Atlanta Falcons. WE ARE REALLY HOPING TO SEE EACH OF YOU ALONG WITH YOUR STUDENTS AT UPRISING 2017. Enclosed in this package you will find all the materials needed to begin promoting this event to your students. We are also continually updating our website at www.eodyouthchannel.com where you will be able to find promotional material as well as how to register. We are also currently working on a couple surprises and although details are yet to be confirmed, we do want you to encourage your students to bring some cash for merch and snacks.
