USE OF COOPERATIVE ISSUED CREDIT CARDS The Sedgwick County Area Educational Services Interlocal Cooperative #618 may issue credit cards to administrative staff and the use of such credit cards shall be strictly confined to necessary school business pursuant to the following terms and conditions: 1. All credit card policies and procedures shall be in writing. 2. The Board of Directors shall review on an annual basis, the restrictions and monthly spending limits of each Cooperative issued credit card. 3. The Board and/or the Director shall authorize the use of Cooperative issued credit cards when necessary to obtain goods or services not readily available through the use of purchase orders. No credit card shall be used for the purpose of facsimile or internet purchases without prior approval of the Director. 4. Any Cooperative issued credit card purchase shall be accompanied by an original receipt to be filed with the Clerk of the Board. 5. The Director shall review Cooperative issued credit card use by employees monthly. The Board of Directors or their designee shall review Cooperative issued credit card use by the Director monthly. Usage of a Cooperative issued credit card equaling or exceeding $2,000.00 in a month will require the Clerk of the Board to make a written report to the Board detailing such monthly usage of that card. 6. All Cooperative issued credit card holders shall execute a statement indicating that such users are familiar with this policy. Board Policy (Adopted July 12, 2001)
