Your invitation to lead our movement. The U.S. Green Building Council transforms buildings into more efficient and healthy places to live, learn, work, and play. In OHIO, a passionate group of volunteers, staff, and USGBC members are working everyday to advance our shared mission of green buildings for all within this generation. As a local community supporter, you will engage a diverse and powerful network of decision makers in the green building community and across an array of connected industries. You will build valuable relationships with business leaders, government officials, and non-profit executives committed to supporting healthy and efficient spaces. Your contributions propel USGBC’s work to improve schools and underserved communities—where our work counts most—through initiatives like Green Apple Day of Service and ADVANCE campaigns for social equity. USGBC OHIO drives transformation from the ground up, building leaders, building markets, and measuring mission impact. Together, we’ll leverage USGBC initiatives to create positive change and tell a powerful story.
SIGNATURE EVENTS Supporters are acknowledged before hundreds of attendees at signature annual events and programs which highlight local and regional leaders. 2017 signature events include: USGBC Ohio Launch Party, 2017 Advocacy Day, Design Columbus Conference, Northeast Ohio Annual Meeting, and Southwest Ohio Summer Social, to name a few.
ADVANCE WORKSHOPS Supporters are provided opportunities to participate in ADVANCE workshops facilitated by USGBC staff and partners, implementing tailored sustainability projects at community-based institutions and organizations.
EDUCATIONAL EVENTS Supporters are recognized at educational events held throughout the year and provided opportunities to sponsor these events, which typically attract 25-75 attendees from the region. In 2017 USGBC Ohio will hold over 50 education events across the state in addition to online learning activities.
ARTICLES ON USGBC.ORG Supporters are given a powerful platform to tell their story using articles on USGBC.org, the virtual home for the green building movement, attracting more than 160,000 unique visitors monthly.
INDIVIDUAL USGBC MEMBERSHIP Individual membership is included with each support level, empowering supporters’ employees to connect with Ohio’s and the world’s premier green building industry network.
