USTA Wheelchair Tennis Grant Grant Guidelines: Available for new or expanding program implementation (instructor's fees, equipment, court costs, etc.) The program or camp must be committed to increasing tennis participation among wheelchair athletes. Available for instructor training. Examples include hosting a CITA approved training workshop for individuals who will be coaching an established wheelchair tennis program or travel expenses incurred during attendance at a CITA approved wheelchair tennis training workshop. First time requests will be given priority. An organization may apply for financial assistance to fund more than one program. Please complete a separate grant application for each program. You must include a current program budget and attach a list of Board of Directors (if applicable) to the back of the application form. Submission of the grant signifies that you agree to use the phrase, Funded in part by the Central Indiana Tennis Association on all future promotional materials (including our logo.) Grants are due the 1st of each month and will be accepted until funds are exhausted. CITA Grants of $100$500 will be awarded. Grant money will be distributed in two payments – 25% upon initial notification and 75% upon completion of the program provided that the Grant Reporting Form and all requirements outlined by the Grants Committee have been properly completed. To receive full funding any changes to the program and/or related expenses must be pre-approved by CITA. Please note: The money must be spent on the program and receipts provided to CITA with the Grant Reporting Form or CITA will not release the second portion of the grant money. At CITA’s discretion, the payout schedule may be amended (more money upon initial notification and less upon completion) in the case of new programs to better assist their start-up efforts. In the event that your organization is in need of a grant exceeding the $500 limit, please contact CITA.
