VALE DOS PECADOS REGIONAL ALENTEJANO RED Reserva 2008 Region: Alentejo is where tranquillity and greatness merges. The endless hills, vineyards, cork and olive trees make this lost paradise a closed coffer which key lies in one’s heart. Winemaker: Antonio Ventura Grape Varieties: Syrah, Trincadeira e Aragonez. Winemaking: The grapes were carefully selected and totally destemmed when arrived at the winery. The fermentation occurred in small stainless steel vats at 25ºC during a week. The wine was then racked and transferred into a combination of French and American barrels during 6 months. Tasting Note: Dark ruby colour. Red berry aromas with hints of vanilla from oak.
