AT THE SHOW 1. Pick-up your lead-scanning hardware Go to the registration desk to receive your hardware from a Validar on-site representative upon check-in. An instruction sheet will be provided and support will be available for the duration of the event.
2. Set Your Options The handheld PC scanners provided will offer two options* for collecting lead info: a. Capturing only contact information (company, title, complete address, phone, email) and attendee type b. Qualifying leads with a short survey on the handheld PC *You may change options with the simple push of a button.
3. Get Your Leads At the end of the day, turn in the device and you will receive a username and password accompanied by a URL where you can retrieve your leads. Validar commits to having your leads posted by the following morning.

AFTER THE SHOW Step 1: Login to the Validar Portal to view your leads. To retrieve your leads, you will need to insert your username and password provided to you at the time of check-in. If you have any difficulty loggin in, please contact Validar customer support at:

Next, click on the Import Leads Tab shown in the screen below and type in the user name and password on your receipt or the one you created when posting you leads via the Postleads.exe icon on your flash drive.
Step 2: Sort and manage your leads online or download to a CSV. Lead records will include name, title, company, address, phone, email, attendee type and any answers to lead qualifying questions.
Step 3: Upload your leads into Salesforce.com.Select the Validar Leads Tab within the AppExchange drop down box in your salesforce.com account as shown below
Click on the blue “upload!” button shown in the screen below to assign, clean and upload your leads.

AFTER THE SHOW CONTINUED… Step 4: Checking Your Leads Validar will automatically delete all of the duplicates you captured on your lead retrieval device(s) if you desire by simply clicking on the Delete duplicates from your leads being imported check box shown in Figure 7. We can also delete any leads you desire by specific criteria such your company name or email address. If this is your choice, then simply type in that criteria in the open text box.
Once your leads have uploaded please click on your Leads Tab shown to see your new leads.
To see your Marketing ROI, please click on the Events Metrics Tab shown in Figure 9 and open up the event that you are attending.

AFTER THE SHOW CONTINUED… Step 5: Event Metrics Once your Event Metrics view is opened, please insert your event cost by clicking on the edit button shown in the screen below. If your device has been customized with your company Average Sales Price and Average Close Rate then Full Measure for AppExchange will automatically populate your Average Cost per Lead, Total Projected Revenue, and Projected ROI figures automatically. You can also simply insert these figures yourself clicking on the edit button and inserting them.
