NIGHT AT THE RACES Fundraising Event and Appreciation Dinner
Saturday, April 16th, 2016 St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church 1800 Station Road Valley City, OH 44280 Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Dinner served at 6:00 p.m. Races immediately following Cost: $30.00 per person Price Includes: Dinner: Pizza, Chicken, Pasta, Salad, Bread Sticks Drinks: Draft Beer, Wine, Pop, Coffee, Tea Desserts: Please bring a dessert to share Eleven Horse Races (betting on each race) There will be numerous gifts donated from area businesses that you can win through a raffle or silent auction, and 50/50 drawings that you can win up to $250.00! You will also have the opportunity to buy a horse through the auction to race in the last race of the night. The winner last year won over $1000.00! Come join us for a night of dining, horse racing, and fun! The funds raised will be used for the maintenance improvements of the facilities and expenses incurred by the Buckeye Baseball and Softball Youth League. Tickets, horses and advertising pages can be purchased from the Team Managers, BBSYL Officers, or RSVP by mail with the attached form by April 2, 2016. Make this event more exciting by purchasing a horse for $10 in one of the races. If your horse wins, you will be awarded $20.00 plus an award. Your horse name can be whatever you desire as this is an adult event (the funnier or unusual the better!!) You can purchase as many horses as you would like. Attach a copy of a business card or any other copy of an advertisement that you would like to use.
