Epic’s electronic controlled variable rake guillotine is designed and constructed in Australia to the high standards required to meet the demanding requirements of Australian workshops. Whether its stainless steel or 8mm mild steel. The construction requires no special foundations, the unique hydraulic system assures no twisting forces are transmitted to the frame, Assuring Epic VR guillotine will give reliable service for many years. The hydraulic rams and extralong slides are assembled externally, making service and maintenance extremely simple and efficient. The blades are high chromium D2 grade suitable for 3mm stainless steel.

The Variable Rake adjustment is very easy to use: Select the gauge of material to be cut e.g. 4mm Steel, the rake and blade gap will change automatically to suit the selected 4mm steel. If 8mm steel is selected the Rake and blade gap will change to suit 8mm steel. The Variable rake feature minimizes the twist in the sheared material and when cutting lighter material using a lower rake angle it takes less time to complete a cut. Choosing the correct rake angle also creates fewer loads on the guillotine blades.
