VCCCD DEBIT CARD Beginning FALL 2011... Ventura County Community College District (VCCCD) will be partnering with Higher One®, a financial services company focused solely on higher education, to provide a new method for receiving financial aid disbursements to all Moorpark College, Oxnard College, and Ventura College students. It will be called the VCCCD Debit Card. Please do not throw away this important card since it is your ticket to a faster disbursement. You should be receiving the VCCCD Debit Card in the mail by July 15, 2011, and it will look like this:
Simply put... Your new VCCCD Debit Card is designed to provide you with increased choice when it comes to receiving your financial aid disbursements – including the Easy Refund (Disbursement) method. Easy Refund is the fastest and easiest way to gain access to your financial aid disbursement money – literally the same day your college releases it, if you are eligible and enrolled. You may also choose to receive your disbursement via an ACH transfer to your existing bank account, or you may choose to have a check mailed to you. Please activate your VCCCD Debit Card as soon as you receive it. You must activate your card in order to choose your method of disbursement. If you are not sure that VCCCD has your current mailing address, please take a moment to visit my.vcccd.edu to update your address information today. Your new VCCCD Debit Card will be mailed to your current address on file with VCCCD. Therefore, it is critical you verify your mailing address as soon as possible.
