During this session we will explore the various stages of implementation across the industry, the
methodologies being used, and the lessons learned that have shaped their programs. Speaker - TBD
• 10:15 am – Break 10:30 am – Break-out Groups: Discuss RBVM as presented and based on your experience 11:15 am – Reports from Break-out Groups and Group Discussion on RBVM 11:45 am – Lunch 12:45 pm – Tree Outage Cause Codes – What, how, where, when? • In order to build a successful Reliability Based Maintenance program, you must first understand the underlying causes of your failures, and appropriate outage data to collect, in order to prevent specific failures and to predict when and where a targeted maintenance would be most effective. Quite often key information is missing or is of questionable accuracy when it comes to vegetation related outages. The purpose of this session will be to explore how other utilities categorize, validate, and even exclude outage data from their analysis. • Speaker -TBD 1:45 pm – Break 2:00 pm – Break-out Groups: Discuss and Develop ideas for Outage Code practices 3:45 pm – Reports from Break-out Groups and Group Discussion on Outage Codes 5:00 pm – Closing Remarks and Adjourn Day 1 of Summit
