This guide describes the lights on the Veloci-T and what they mean. These lights will usually illuminate in conjunction with a physical condition on the printer itself. In many cases, the first troubleshooting step you should take is to turn off your printer and remove the shirt holder, restart your computer, and then turn the printer back on after your computer has started up again Item 1 – Printer powered on - Normal. This is when the print engine is ready to print but no print commands have been sent to the printer. Item 2 – Ink Out/ No Ink Cartridge. This condition is when the ink cartridge is detected empty. The ink cartridge should reset by following the instructions in manual section 3: Putting Cartridges Into the Veloci-T Printer. Pay special attention to Step 6. The arrow must be pointing to the silver metal – the cartridge replacement position – before you remove or replace a cartridge. After completing the steps in manual section 3, the printer will do a cleaning and the light will turn off. If no cartridge is in place, place one in the appropriate slot by following the instructions in manual section 3. Item 3 – Warning indicated. There are several possible causes of this condition: 1) Shirt board was inside the printer when the printer was powered on. Turn the printer off, remove the shirt holder and then turn the printer back on. 2) The cover above the ink cartridges was flipped up and hit the red printer cover. Turn the printer off, close the cover and then turn the printer back on. 3) The print head or shirt holder were obstructed while trying to move back and forth. Turn the printer off, clear any obstructions and then turn the printer back on. If, after completing these steps and restarting the printer a warning is still indicated, contact Equipment Zone Technical Support for help diagnosing the cause. You will not be able to print until this condition is cleared. Item 4 – Maintenance tank counter reset required. The Maintenance tank counter has exceeded its maximum value. Reset the counter using the Adjustment program on your Install CD. Contact Equipment Zone Technical Support for detailed instructions. You will not be able to print until this counter is reset. This condition is normal and occurs after about one year of printing. Item 5 – Media Out. This condition is caused when a print command was sent to the printer and the shirt board was not in the load position. To clear, load the shirt board into the printer and then press the Media Button once. This should turn off the light and start the print. If the light persists, the shirt board might not be loaded into the printer all the way. Clean off the top of the silver shirt holder hoop using Windex and a paper towel. Then try loading the shirt board again and pressing the Media Button once. Veloci-T Indicator Lights Guide
