Try Out for Travel Team Swimmers:
Each swimmer must try out on one of
the following dates: Saturday, June 11th OR Sunday, June 12th Ages 10 and under: 8:30 – 9:30 Ages 11 and over: 9:30 – 10:30
Practice Times: 8/under: 8:30 – 9:15 9/10: 8:30 - 9:30 11/12: 9:30 – 10:30 13/ over: 10:30 – 11:30
Monday – Friday, starting June 20th (no practice July 4th)
Travel Team Meet Schedule:
NOTE: All meets start promptly at 6:00 pm (except noted) with swimmer check in between 5:00 – 5:15 (as stated by coaches) Monday, June 27th Verona @ Berkeley Heights Thursday, June 30th Madison @ Verona Tuesday, July 5th Verona @ Livingston Thursday, July 7th Millburn @ Verona Monday, July 11th Livingston @ Verona Wed., July 13th Verona @ Millburn (5:45 start) Friday, July 15th Swim for Food at VCP Monday, July 18th Berkeley Heights @ Verona Tuesday, July 19th Verona @ Madison Wed/Thurs, July 20th or July 21st Team Pool Party Monday, July 25th Divisionals @ TBD (am meet) Thursday, July 28th Meet of Champions @ New Providence (am meet)
B Team Meet Schedule: will be announced at the start of the season. Swim Suit Sale:
Wednesday, June 21st 9:00 – 11:00 am
Please note that each travel team member is required to have a team suit. The female suit will be the same as last year and the male suit will have a slight variation.
Parent Meeting:
June 15th at the Verona Community Center
This is a great opportunity to get the details of summer swim and find a place that each family can volunteer to insure the season runs smoothly.
Parent Volunteers Needed!! The success of summer swimming is not possible without parent volunteers. Parents are expected to donate their time to the team in some capacity. If you have an area of interest please email the parents association so you can be placed accordingly. Scoring - Home, Away and Division Meets Announcing - Home and Division Meets Ribbon Writing - Home, Away, Division and Meets Bake Sale - Home Meets Timing - Home, Away and Division Meets Team Pool Party Email [email protected] to volunteer.
