About The Victory Club
Frequently Asked Questions
The Victory Club was established as a way for friends, family and alumni of the Adelphi Women’s Lacrosse program to support the team. Victory Club members make a financial pledge to the program for every win that the team earns in 2018.
What are the funds used for? All gifts go exclusively to the women’s lacrosse program. The funds are used for various items for the team such as additional equipment & uniforms, recruiting expenses, travel expenses and locker room upgrades.
There are four levels of The Victory Club that one can join: Brown - $100 per win Gold - $50 per win Black - $25 per win White - $10 per win
All gifts to The Victory Club are directed to the Women’s lacrosse restricted account within The Panther Club and all Victory Club members will be automatically enrolled in the Panther Club as that is the fundraising vehicle for all of Adelphi
Athletics. Each Victory Club membership begins with just a $50 payment towards your pledge.
How can I participate? Simply complete the attached form and send it back to the Panther Club office. Indicate on the form at which level you would like to join. You can join the club at any point before or during the season, but the expectation is that your pledge will include all wins achieved in 2018. Is my contribution tax deductible? Yes, however, the Internal Revenue Service rules state that a donor cannot deduct the part of a donation that represents the value of benefits received. You will receive a written acknowledgment of your contribution and a good faith estimate of the value of any goods and services provided in exchange for the contribution. Do I receive anything for joining the club? Yes, you will receive an item of AU gear from The Victory Club.
