WEEK THREE

VIDEO GUIDE Reasons to develop listening skills: 1. What the   Scriptures  teach

2. What we know of   human 

  nature 

Intend to   listen  . People are valuable for who they are; they are not   projects 

3. What we might be   missing 

First steps to listening: 1. Write the things people do when you are talking that   bother    you  .

2. Assess how many of these things you’ve been   guilty  of.

3. Begin listening better by using the   golden 

 rule .

WEEK FOUR

VIDEO GUIDE How to convert atheists: 1. Be   realistic  . 2. Don’t be   stupid  .

Don’ts: 1. Don’t tell atheists   what    they 

  think  .

2. Don’t evade serious   questions  . 3. Don’t assert things you   can’t    defend  .

Do’s: 1. Do explore the   truth  openly. 2. Do admit   mistakes  . 3. Do come   prepared  . 4. Do gently point out the   flaws  in the atheist’s reasoning.

Christians are not asking enough   questions  .
